Both HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket are AT&T's first LTE smartphones. November 6 was shaping up to be a big day for AT&T, as the carrier released its first 4G LTE smartphones and expanded its LTE network to nine additional markets on that day.

  • Display

  • The display is definitely a bright spot on the Vivid. 4.5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) touch screen. "The phone's usable viewing angle is very nearly 180 degrees," written by a reviewer, "and you can't tilt it in a way that makes the colors wash out."
  • Camera

  • It's got an 8-megapixel camera capable of 1080p video capture and a dual-LED flash.
  • Other Specs

  • Dimensions: 5.07" x 2.64" x .44". LTE/HSPA+/UMTS/GSM/GPRS/EDGE; 1.2GHz dual-core processor; 16GB of internal memory with expansion capabilities; 1GB RAM; Bluetooth 3.0; WiFi "N"; 1620mAh battery and Android 2.3.4.

Though HTC Vivid support data processing, including Microsoft Office, it isn't able to show PowerPoint with audios, videos and animations users embedded or set. To make your presentation much funnier and impress others, the best way is converting PowerPoint to Video keeping all original multimedia and settings. There are many PPT to Video tools. You can choose one which suits you.
  • Price

  • Price with two-year contract: $199.99.

Data plans start at $15 per month for the DataPlus plan, which gets you 200MB of data. You can get an additional 200MB of data for $15. For heavy data users, you can choose the DataPro plan, which offers 2GB of data for $25 per month, with the option to purchase another 1GB of data for $10.
Customers will be able to choose from the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket or the HTC Vivid, both of which are compatible with AT&T's HSPA+ and LTE networks and run Android Gingerbread.
