Latest Details about iPad 5 Which is Coming in October

iPad 5

The Editor-in-Chief of iLounge, Jeremy Horwitz, confirmed that he had the opportunity to inspect the physical model of the completely redesigned iPad 5 several days ago. And from his article, we can find some important information to let use learn about the fifth-generation iPad.

According to Jeremy Horwitz's words, iPad 5 will sport many of the same features seen on the iPad mini.

"The upcoming iPad is in portrait orientation, picture a 9.7” screen with virtually no left or right bezels, and only enough space above and below the screen to accommodate the mandatory camera and Home Button elements. It’s noticeably thinner, as well, which is to say the the fifth-generation iPad will be smaller in every dimension than its predecessors. As it will have the same chamfered edges and curves, calling it a 'stretched iPad mini' is very close to entirely accurate."

He also mentioned changes in the latest generation device.

The changes are so considerable that a new screen technology, such as IGZO, seems like a given. Going Retina for the third-generation iPad forced Apple to make that tablet a little thicker than the iPad 2, in part to seriously beef up the battery. Very little changed for the fourth-generation iPad. By contrast, this iPad 5 design is so much smaller that a full internal redesign—complete with a smaller, less power-hungry sequel to the A6X—can be safely assumed. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see the new iPad remain roughly on par with the fourth-generation model in processing capabilities, with the improved screen, dramatically lower size, and reduced weight becoming the key selling points.

The release date of iPad 5 may be set in October 2013 by Apple.

Microsoft Office 2013 and Microsoft Office 365 Would Be Here on Jan 29

Microsoft Office 365 was confirmed to be released on Jan 29, 2013.

Microsoft has remained quiet on the release date of Office 365 for a long time, while many consumers are waiting. As spotted by Neowin.net, listings for Office 365 appeared on Canadian retailer Future Shop’s website on Jan 18, and they not only gave us a look at the software’s retail packaging, but they also gave us an idea of when copies will begin shipping: the release date for Office 365: January 29.

According a tweet by the Microsoft Office Twitter account, Microsoft will be launching Office 2013 and Office 365 on Jan 29 in Bryant Park in New York City.

For Companies
Actually, Microsoft has released Office 2013 to manufacturing on October 11 last year, and they made it available to MSDN and TechNet subscribers later on. The company has been pointing to Q1 2013 release date for awhile, and now its finally official.

For Desktop Users
Office 2013 has been available for the Surface tablet for some time, as well OEM Windows 8 machines, but tomorrow will mark the point where desktop users who don’t have the new Office suite will finally be able to grab a version for themselves, as well as take advantage of the new Office 365 subscription service.

For Mobile Devices Users
Back in November, we were teased with a few leaked screenshots of Office for iOS and Android. While we haven’t heard anything on that front for awhile, we’re curious if Microsoft will make the apps available tomorrow, but we also won’t be surprised if they wait a little while to make the software available on mobile devices. Also, just recently, Microsoft and the City of Chicago signed a deal that would see some 30,000 city employees move to Office 365 for their communication needs, a deal that will see the new subscription service jump to a great start right off the bat.

According to the existing information, we can check a part of details about the new suites.

Office 365 University, allows a user to install the program on up to two PCs or Macs and gives that one user a four-year subscription to the suite of programs. The price of admission for University comes in at $79.99 CAD, which is in line with what Microsoft has previously announced for the US.

On the other side of the coin, below you see the packaging for the Home Premium version, which will allow you to install the Office suite on up to five PCs or Macs. Though the packaging doesn’t come with a price, Microsoft previously announced a yearly subscription of $99.99 (that’s US dollars) for Home Premium.
