Few days ago, researchers demonstrated E-Paper Phone. This amzing device is a collaboration between researchers from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, Arizona State University, USA, researchers from the E-Ink Corporation.
E-Paper Phone performs everything a smart phone would, such as making phone calls, display e-books, text messaging and play music.
According to the picture below, this phone which is made by e-paper, is really thin and the users is allowed to bend body of this phone cause it is flexible.
Just this piece of e-papar, you can also write on it and use as the touchscreen.
The e-paper sheet is just millimetres thick. Everything can be stored digitally and you can place these computers on top of each other, just like a stack of paper.
The PaperPhone will be displayed at the Association of Computing Machinery’s CHI 2011 conference in Vancouver, Canada, on May 10.
